Dr. Xavier Pasco (PhD Pol. Science Université Paris 1 Sorbonne) has been Director of the Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique since 2016. He is the author of numerous study and reports on strategic issues and space activities (civil and military) for national and European institutions. His academic work has been the basis for nearly a hundred articles in national and international journals and several books. The most recent, “Géopolitique de l’espace”, was published in September 2025 by Editions Tallandier (France). 

He has been Associate Research Fellow at the Space Policy Institute at George Washington University (Washington D.C., USA) from 1994 to 2010; Associate Editor of the international journal “Space Policy” (Elsevier Science) since 2002; elected member of the International Academy of Astronautics and member of the Advisory Committee and now Board member of the Secure World Foundation (USA).
